Mike has taught, trained, and coached people at all levels in a wide range of organizational settings: manufacturing, financial services, retail, direct marketing, education, social services, government, youth ministry, business-2-business sales, medical centers, training companies, consultants, and other coaches. He has helped numerous individuals launch new businesses and harness the power of the Internet to grow their business..  Mike’s client testimonials are evidence of his coaching skills.  

Mike’s background also  includes six years years of teaching management, organizational behavior, organizational leadership, marketing, Internet marketing, and career planning at two private colleges - primarily to adult students.  He first taught Internet Marketing in 1997, very early in the game.  His teaching style is light on lecture and heavy on experiential learning, and could accurately be described as group coaching.

Mike has a BS in Business Administration and a Masters in Management.  He is also a graduate of the Coaches Training Institute, a Certified TeleClass Leader, and a member of the International Association of Coaches.

About Us

Ken brings over twenty years of coaching small and family owned businesses through improvement, problem solving, project management and leadership succession.   He has taught management, organizational development, and leadership courses for two West Michigan colleges.  

Ken serves as the  Executive Director for Help Build Community, a West Michigan based community development non-profit organization that helps build healthy urban communities.  He has also served on the boards of multiple ministry organizations.

Ken has a BA from Calvin College and a Masters in Social Work from Michigan State University.
